AME signs a strategic cooperation memorandum with RIGHT to boost clinical guidelines development
On December 16, 2020, a strategic cooperation memorandum was signed in Beijing by Mr. Wang Daoyuan, president and founder of AME Publishing Company, and Dr. Chen Yaolong, chairman and founder of RIGHT (Reporting Items for Practice Guidelines in healthcare) Working Group, marking the beginning of collaborative efforts to enhance the quality and efficiency in the development of practice guidelines in healthcare.
Founded in July 2009, AME Publishing Company (AME: Academic Made Easy, Excellent, and Enthusiastic) is a medical publishing company that promotes innovation from a global, web-based, perspective. AME has established professional journal operation teams that provide full-process publishing services, with AME’s ability to solicit contributions from a global base of authors being its core competency. Since its founding, AME has published more than 60 peer-reviewed journals (13 indexed in SCIE and 18 in PubMed).
The RIGHT Working Group is an international academic organization established by Lanzhou University which boasts participation from more than 30 of the top experts across 12 countries and 7 international organizations. The RIGHT checklist includes 22 items in 7 domains, which are considered essential to improving the comprehensiveness and reporting quality of practice guidelines. Available in English, Chinese, Italian, German, Korean, Japanese, and other languages, the RIGHT checklist has been increasingly recognized and used by international guideline developers.
The two signatories of the memorandum vowed to enhance their strategic partnership to further mutual aims, resources, and ambitions.
